When deciding what to design to draw at a scale as big as 60 inches and to also use grasshopper I was at a loss of what I ought to try. I tried abstract-esk compositions, geometric stuff, and even some figurative ideas. What felt very right though was a calligraphic type solution with a declaration that felt appropriate. The overall accuracy yet micro imperfections of the marker on the CNC made for such an alluring dichotomy that almost feels like a human touched it. I chose "I miss Anthony Bourdain" because...why would I not. I then layered colors and offset the layers to mimic something like a glitchy digital composition.
